Combine Painting(Art).

A combine painting is an artwork that incorporates various objects into a painted canvas surface, creating a sort of hybrid between painting and sculpture.Items attached to paintings might include photographic images, clothing, newspaper clippings, ephemera or any number of three-dimensional objects

  • An American artist Robert Rauschenberg.October 22, 1925 – May 12, 2008.
  •  His "combine" concept strongly helped to shaped the direction of modern art. 
  • Robert Rauschenberg is most famous for his "combines". 
  • he used non-traditional materials and every day objects to innovate combination for both painting and sculpture. 
  •  Rauschenberg's approach was sometime called "Neo-Dada, pop art" cultural movement,   concentrated its anti-war politics through a rejection of the prevailing standards in art through anti-art cultural works
  • His purpose was to reduce painting to its most essential nature, and to subsequently lead to the possibility of pure experience.
 Design Principle of   Rauschenberg

Rauschenberg had used all design principles on his artworks. hierarchy- each painting he highlighted his idea, Balance, proximity, rhythm, scale and unity.
